Wilsonia College is a recognized institution that is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi that conducts two examinations. The Indian Certificate for Secondary Education (ICSE) examination is conducted at the end of class Ten and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) is held at the end of class Twelve. The Council is a well-recognized board all over the world and allows students’ easy access to various degree courses like Engineering, Medical, NDA, BBA, BSc, CA etc.

Wilsonia is proud of its alumni who have done well in life. Students who have passed out from here are now established Doctors, Engineers, Exporters, Defence Personnel, Corporate Executives, Educationists, Lawyers, Accountants, Civil Servants etc. serving both in India and abroad.

THE COUNCIL

1) Origin – The council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations was established in 1958 by the University of Cambridge, Local Examination Syndicate with the assistance of the Inter-State Board for the Anglo-Indian Education. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act No. XXI of 1860.

2) Recognition – The Delhi Education Act, 1973, passed by the Parliament, in chapter I Definitions Section 2(s), recognizes the council as a body conducting public examinations.

3) Constituents – The Council has been so constituted as to secure suitable representation of Governments, which are responsible for schools in their State/Territories, the Inter-State Board for Anglo-Indian Education, the Association of Indian Universities, the Association of Heads of Anglo-Indians Schools, the Indian Public Schools’ Conference, the association of Schools for the I.S.C Examination and eminent educationists. The Chief Executive and Secretary acts as the Chief of the Council.
